Halema'uma'u & Thai Food!

Last night we decided to go and have dinner at Thai Thai in Volcano. Turns out the parents of kid in Hana's class own the restaurant. So we went there and had a DELICIOUS!!!! Dinner...hmm

lemmon grass soup, beef & eggplants, potatoes and chicken in yellow curry, pad thai and sticky rice....oh, and after that she made us some sticky rice with mango for dessert! it is the best thai restaurant no question about it!

After that we went to see Halema'uma'u vent out, it is IMPRESSIVE!!! the whole Kilauea caldera is full of activity, but the column of smoke/steam is impressive..

These shots were taken from the Volcano House , then from there we went to the Jagger Museum where you can see a better look of the caldera, you can actually see the red glow of the lava reflected on the steam column....unfortunately it is too dark and too far for our camera to take any decent pictures, so you will have to come and see for yourselves!
