A view of A-Mountain
Today lunch ran courtesy of our very good friends Jane and Taber..... who for those who didn't know, they were in the first Biosphere 2 mission (you know, the one where they lasted 2 years inside). Now they own their own Space Development company called Paragon Space Development Corp (www.paragonsdc.com) and they are involved in some VERY COOL projects that have to do with developing some of the systems for the next generation Space Shuttle (the new spaceship that will mothball the current shuttle). Yes, that is how cool they are!
With Taber & Jane in front of the painting we donated to their new office
And for those of you who don't know them, no, they are not your typical nerd rocket scientist. They are incredibly fun people to hang out with, for fun they race motorcycles..... Jane is almost like a rock star, she just finished her book on the biosphere (www.janepoynter.com) which has the "inside story" of the Biosphere. Recommended for everyone, actually, stop reading and go buy one right now.... we're in it!
Before heading to Purdy's, met old neighborhood friends Nina & Lia
Purdy on the right, his expression tells it all...
Purdy is the one who is responsible for how bad I play the guitar (he was supposed to teach me how to play, and well, you can ask Charlotte). Eric, good friend, tennis partner, soccer co-coach and many other good things... except guitar player, I beat him at that too...

It's like the Al Perry song " and you're never more than 10 feet from a 7-11" (or in this case Circle K.
It looks so dry, cough,cough- I think dust is coming out of the picture......
