Meet Rosita
This summer Syd and Hana will be spending close to four weeks with their grandparents in Mexico. They have a small farm in a town up in the mountains (the name of the town near the farm is Tapalpa - picture below-). It is a beautiful place, they grow raspberries, they raise trouts and it is just beautiful. This year nonna has gone way out of her way and got a baby Donkey (and the mama too). Hana named the baby donkey Rosita. Here are some pictures of what promises to be a very entertained little donkey...
Rosita and Nonno (Rosita is the one on the left)

Carla and Guero, the farm kids, great kids too..
This is the dry season down there (as one can see from the pictures), but later in the summer when the rains come in, the whole place turns green. Here are some pictures taken a few years ago when we went there for my brother's wedding....

And as you can see, it will be one boring summer for these two.......

wow I'm ready to have my girls here, and also Nonno and Rosita and the dogs and everybody.
We are so excited to spend those weeks with them.
Parece un lugar muy hermoso para visitar, casi iguales que en Hawaii. ¡Disfrute de sus vacaciones, muchachas!
