Turkey on the beach!

Happy Thanksgiving.... this morning it was activity day at the resort. First Syd entered a Hula Hoop contest and finished in second place, next to a girl about a foot taller than her and that must've had some freaky hula hoop magnet around her waist....the girl barely moved and the hoop kept spinning around her waist!

All this time Hana was swimming in the pool.....she loves the lagoon pool.

After playing for a while we headed out to White Plains Beach to meet with Charlotte's cousins Mark and Casey, and Casey's husband Big Ben (Mark lives here is Oahu and Ben and Casey in Virginia). We had a Thanksgiving picnic at the beach with Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, poke (three diferent types), artichoke hearts and mushrooms, oh yeah, and pumpkin pie with whipped cream! oh yeah!!!!

Warming up the dinner...we put everything in tin foil pouches in a grill, the gravy was a bit tricky, so we cut off the top of a soda can and used the bottom as a little sauce pan...learned that from McGyver...

Mark brought a couple of surfboards so we finally got a chance to ride some waves, and eventhough the waves weren't huge, they were just right to have a great time!

All in all it was a great Thanksgiving, certainly a memorable one.....
