TILE IN THE KITCHEN!!!!!!!!!

Finally, after one year of having backer board on our kitchen back splash walls (giving it an industrial look) we installed the subway tile......It took the visit from a rather enthusiastic guest (Howard) who insisted on helping us putting up the tile. How enthusiastic was he? see for yourselves:

We went out to Home Depot to rent a wet saw and to buy spacers and adhesive for the job and took off......didn't stop until the whole place was done, and it looks SO COOL!

We still need to put the grout, but that will happen soon (this week, promise).

The bad news is that Howard has now set up a precedent, so, from now on, anyone who comes to visit and wants to get room and board at the Romo Inn will have to work on a project from our project list. We will soon post the menu on this blog and people can make reservations choosing a project, not a bad idea eh?
