Kilauea Caldera from the Air

Sunday Don invited me to go and take one of those helicopter tours that fly over the volcanoes to see the lava. I always thought that these were a trourist trap, so after a long time of twisting my arm (about half a second) I agreed to go.... Turned out to be a VERY COOL experience. Seeing the active lava, even if it is from a couple of thousand feet up in the air is an unforgettable experience, not to mention seeing the hundreds of acres covered by the huge lava flows of the 90's, it truly was a humbling experience. Thanks brah....
