HAPPY BIRTHDAY NONNA!!!!!!

Today's post is dedicated to a very special person who is celebrating her Birthday: Catalina, aka : Nonna, Cata, Chilindrina, Catacuas, Romina, Madre, Umbrella, Zari, Zarigueya - we might have missed some other nicknames, but I think that's most of them-.

She has touched many lives in many different ways and everywhere she goes she lights up the room.

Nonna is loved by everyone who meets her, she has been and is the main pilar to our familiy in Guadalajara, and she means a lot to our family in Tucson.

She was there when our two daughters were born and has lended us incredible support in more ways that we can describe here.

She is a wonderful mother, a terrific grandmother, an outstanding suegra (mother-in-law for all you gringos that don't know what suegra is and yes, that is me wearing a suit, it was the last time I wore one too, at my brother's wedding, my brother is the one in the waiter costume). ,

a talented artist, a great friend, an excellent cook, a master seamstress & knitter, and just a very pleasant person to be around with.

So for all that she is, and has done we want to wish her a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY with all our love;
