HANA Turns OCHO!!!!!

It is hard to believe that Hana is already 8 years old! So yesterday was her traditional costume Birthday/Halloween party. Charlotte had been working on this party ALL WEEK LONG!

It turned out to be a great party, Hana's friend from school came all dressed up, there were princesses, spooky convicts, Laura Ingalls from the Little House in the Prairie, a pixie, Cleopatra, a little devil....

Kirrah, Sydney's friend also came to give a hand. We converted the hallway into a Haunted (very haunted) Hallway... Hear Charlotte in this video plotting to scare the pants out of a little kid after he said that he wasn't scared in the haunted hallway..... (oh Auntie Charlotte, always so considerate..)

She hand made the pinata (King Boo - one of the Nintendo Wii characters),

The pinata by the way was the final treasure of a big treasure hunt that Charlotte organized for the kids with clues in the form of riddles that she hid all over the place (one was inside a bottle in the bottom of the stream in the backyard...)

The food was also delicious, we had monster toes, bloody chicken, ogre eyes, guts in blood,

witches brew (with a witch's hand in it)

she made a coconut-white chocolate cake (hmmmmmmm) and a chocolate cake which Sydney decorated like a graveyard....

Present opening time, she got many cool presents, from us she got an "American Girl" doll named Julie... Our friend David and his girlfriend Jill also stopped by to wish Hana a happy Birthday!

As for Charlotte and I, well, we were planning on being Sonny and Cher, however, we were not able to find the right hair-pieces so we just ended up being some sort of lost couple from the 70's...Leslie took our picture, and after the first picture she said that something was not right, that Cher was supposed to be taller than Sonny, so we made some adjustments and this was the final outcome....
